Eeek!

I'm not much of a fan of the booties in the first place, but these are even worse than normal:

 

One of my coworkers said they look like a bird cage.  I just think that's a LOT of string.  I would want to start to unravel them to see if it's all one string.  That's probably a rather expensive experiment, though...
