Ravenclaw

So, we've established that I very much dislike Slytherin, and wish I could be in Gryffindor.  Up next is Ravenclaw, the house I would hope to be in if I didn't get sorted into Gryffindor.  I'm not sure about this one, though, either, as Ravenclaws are really really smart.  I'm OK in the smart department, but I'm not sure it's my best quality ever.  Onto the shoes, which are very similar to yesterday's selections, only with Ravenclaw's colors and crest.  There are a lot of HP shoes out there, but I'm definitely finding sets of shoes for each of the houses.

 

 

 

I definitely wouldn't mind Ravenclaw considering one of their colors is blue.  Which, of course, is awesome.  I really want those pumps.

 

Hey, remember when I asked when my next round of antibiotics would be?  Well, if you guessed somewhere in the vicinity of 2 weeks, you'd be right!  I've been feeling pretty crappy since Thursday or Friday last week.  Massive sinus pressure (monster bitch headache from hell), fever, sweating, coughing, ear pressure, etc.  I finally forced myself to go to Urgent Care today since my dr's office never called me back, and I have a sinus infection.  The Dr. actually said, "well, you already know what you have.  Do you have a preference on which antibiotic you want?"  Oy...I should just be able to write my own prescriptions at this point.

 



 

Creepy and Cute

First the creepy.

Yes, those are teeth shoes.  The hubby found them and showed me awhile back, and I was properly horrified.  Tonight a friend posted them on my facebook timeline and said they made her think of her.  Neither of us are really sure what to make of that statement...  Regardless, now you can try to scrub this image out of your brain, too!

I can't just leave you with the creepy, though, so here are the shoes I wore to church this morning:

 

OK, I actually only wore them to the first service.  I felt really awful this morning, was coughing, sweating, had a fever, etc., and almost took a header in these when I was trying to serve communion because I got dizzy as I was stepping down to the railing.  I figured that would ruin the sacrament for a lot of people, especially the ones I fell on after dumping wine all over them.  I got these last winter for the Advent season, which is sadly only 4 Sundays.  Couldn't the blue season be longer so I could enjoy all of that lovely blue?  Thankfully I don't have to confine my blue shoes to only that season, although it is nice to coordinate with the paraments.

I said I would write every day and am trying to stick to that.  I had sinus surgery today, though, and while I'm feeling OK, I'm certainly not feeling terribly creative blog-wise.  So I will just send you here to look at some shoes (and other accessories) from the SAG awards.  Trust me, it is much more fun than me telling you about what is happening in my world right now...
