What?

I didn't post on this holiday last year, but decided I couldn't pass it up a second time.  Because today is Cow Milked While Flying in an Airplane Day.  There really is a holiday for everything!  In honor of this momentous and historic occasion I give you cow shoes, of course!

These are hilarious.  Do they look less like mouths when there are feet in them or does it then look like the cows are eating your feet?

Holy cow indeed.

These are cute and also kind of strange.

I would wear either of these to a cow themed event, depending on how formal it was.

The PB could go with me!  Why are the cows green, though?

I hope you find a way to celebrate this crazy holiday.  I don't drink milk, but if I did, milk and cookies would seem a delightful choice.

Niiiieeeeces!

A couple of days ago The Bean and Double simultaneously sent me pictures on Facebook messenger:

This was The Bean's choice.  I love that it's a cow patterned cowboy boot.

The rest are from Double A.  I love the colors.

This is really cute.  You know I love the blue flowers.

I like how details almost blend in somehow.  Notice the butterflies?  Double A loves butterflies!

I could do without that crazy, curved toe, but the colors and details are fun.

Perfect for the weekend!  I told her she should wear these to our family reunion on the island on the 4th.  With her swimming suit.  Yeah, I know I'm a mean auntie

Thank you, awesome nieces, for thinking of your auntie and sending me shoes!  You are the bestest and I love you to the pond and back!

Animal Crackers, Yum!

Today is National Animal Crackers Day.  Although frankly, animal crackers day could be every day because they are yummy.  I love the frosted kind, the kind in the circus box, the kind that comes in the giant plastic bear container.  Today I celebrated with the frosted kind:

I mean, come on: frosting AND sprinkles?  What's not to love?  Although half the time I have no idea what the animals are supposed to be, but that's a minor consideration.

I couldn't find any shoes specifically dealing with animal crackers, and I recently did a zoo post (animal crackers are usually zoo or circus themed), so I just found animal shoes I thought were adorable.  As such, I'm going to leave the comments to you because all of mine would be some variation of awww...so cute!

I love them all.  They are adorable.

If you looked back at the zoo post you'll notice a similarity in theme with this one beyond just animal shoes, and that is EAT ALL THE THINGS!  I don't know what is going on with me lately, but I am hungry all the fricking time.  I'm like a bottomless pit with a tapeworm who also has a bottomless pit.  I don't know if it's stress or hormones, or the planetary alignment or what, but dang.  Hence the purchasing and eating of frosted animal crackers.  Sigh.  My butt is going to be huge if I keep this up.

Moving on.

Mooooo

Today was Cow Appreciation Day.  How does one appreciate a cow?  Gift card to the local cow spa?  Extra yummy feed?  Not killing them and making them into steaks?  I'm not sure.  I shall appreciate them by showing you cow shoes.

I think these are cute.  Cow shoes and dalmatian shoes are very similar, though.

These are funny to me.   They cows look a little crazed.

No wait, THESE cows look crazed.

Also cute.  This might be the only way I could wear white shoes since they would hide the dirt.

Highland cow baby shoes!  These are awesome.

These would have been perfect for my interview outfit the other day.

These are cute, but I have to say I like the highland cow ones better.  I'm a sucker for highland cattle after spending a week on spring break with a bunch of nuns who had a herd.  Also, that's just a fabulous sentence.

How did you appreciate cows today?

Aaah...Lunch

I had lunch with a lovely friend today.  Actually, I think you might be able to accurately use the word "broad" to describe her.  But in a totally good way.  She just lays it out there.  Says it like she sees it.  From some people I would be completely offended by half of what she says.  From her it just seems normal.  So it was a good time all around.  The setting didn't hurt, either:

This is at a place called Phillips Farms, or just The Farm.

Clearly this means we need farm shoes.  Because cows and piggies are cute.

See?  Barns are also cute on shoes!

Heehee.  This whole thing makes me giggle.

Is it weird that I would wear these?  The sheep ones would be perfect for all of the sheep story Sundays at church.

Farm equipment shoes!

I'm not sure what's on the green boots.  Horses and cow pattern fit the farm pattern, though.

So, lunch at The Farm.  Farm shoes.  Old McDonald had a farm.  Yeah, I just needed a third something to finish that sentence.

Random:  I got home this afternoon and the hubby hadn't turned the AC on (I know this sounds weird to those of you who have had snow in the last week...we have had temps in the 90s).  It was 84 degrees in the house and he was wearing a sweatshirt.  My husband was weird.
