Eeyore

It's another birthday post!  But not mine this time.  Did you know that today is Eeyore's birthday?  Neither did I, so now we've all learned something.  I love Eeyore.  I definitely resonate with Eeyore.  And, Eeyore is the BFF's favorite A.A. Milne character, so I love him even more for that association.  In honor of his big day, here are some Eeyore shoes:

I would wear any of these.  The heels are a little weird, but I still like them.  I think the BFF and I need matching Eeyore shoes so we can celebrate April 25th together next year.  Oooh, we could get the Nephew Eeyore shoes, too!  And then we can all go to Disneyland.  Clearly we need to start saving our pennies.

The BFF loves Eeyore, and I seem to be channeling him lately, so it seemed only appropriate to go find some shoes.

He really is awfully cute.  Plus, he's an introvert and so am I.

Sometimes he feels invisible.  Yep.  Happens to me occasionally.

Thankfully I don't have a tail that falls off on a regular basis.  But I do lose other things.

Eeyore has awesome friends who support him even when he's sad.  So do I.

I think Eeyore and I are soul mates right now.  If only I hadn't broken my adorable Eeyore mug several years ago, or I could drink out of it.  Guess I might have to get some comfy slippers instead.
